I have always enjoyed browsing old technical magazines, as much for the advertisements as the technical content. Usually it’s a sharp reminder of how far we have moved in a short space of time, but once in a while you realise that somethings never change, and in a few areas we have gone backwards.
We’ll stay with going forwards here. I have an undated copy of Lamphouse Radio Circuits, some of the advertisements in it are reproduced below.
The Electric Lamphouse Ltd was a Wellington, New Zealand company that traded from 1929 to 1952 and published a number of annual and other publications from about 1933 until it’s close.
