The HP Series 100 Communicator was a regular publication - 6 times per year - in the 1980’s. The two issues I have - 7 and 12 - are dated 1983 and 1985. The Welcome text in Issue 7 has this to say:
“The Series 100 Communicator is the heart of the Series 100 support program. It contains application information, operational tips, programming techniques, information on software updates, manual corrections, and data on known software problems and their solution. The Communicator is both a reference to everything current on the system and your window into the continually expanding world of the Series 100.”
While called the Series 100, the material covers the HP 100, 125 and 150 series.
Believe it or not, I have a client (in May 2008) who still uses an HP Series 150 for engineering calculations - bridge stress loadings from memory. He has promised it to me when he finally retires it.
This section is a work-in-progress at May 2008. The pages shown are only a small sub-set of the 100+ in each issue.
